Recycle?  Where'd that enter this discussion?  No one is 
disputing the action of the TRASH folder.  Pratik is aware ofit, 
as am I.

AGain with the recycle bin!

And again, this is not in contention - this is what happens, and 
Pratik acknowledges it.  In fact, this is his complaint.

Again, not a point of contention.

What Pratik is complaining about is that when he empties the 
trash, those messages go away.  What he is looking to do is to 
remove messages from the server, but leave them in the Trash 
Bin.

So the question is really this:

When the Preferences is to delete the message on the server when 
the message is deleted locally, is it deleted when the message 
is moved to the Trash Bin, or only when the Trash Bin is 
emptied?
