I don't believe I ever stated nor did I intend to suggest that these old
places were better than the current ones. The point was that there was
vitality before the Target Center. And now that there's the Target Center,
there's even more vitality. I will make the value judgment that places like
Hard Rock Caf�, Olive Garden and TGI Fridays do little to add to the value
of the area, but that's just my opinion. Look and see how busy they are.
Apparently others think differently.

I don't believe that sports facilities create valueless ghettos either. They
draw crowds and traffic. Much like an anchor department store in a regional
mall, they create the foot traffic that other retail establishments hope to
serve.

Great place to attend concerts.  I try to bring out of town guests there
whenever possible.
