I am not sure that anyone planned for people who live within just a few blocks of the LRT station actually driving instead of walking from their homes to the stations to take the train. As the one guy said, "the enemy is us". I know several people living near the 50th Str. station who drive six blocks from their house to the station and park there and take the train to work, to the game or to party downtown. I suspect such is true for the other stations as well.
I feel for the people living with this problem. I am sure it isn't easy or fun to not be able to find parking in front of your house. Perhaps parking meters might be helpful. Not sure, just a thought. Barb Lickness Whittier ===== "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." -- Margaret Mead REMINDERS: 1. Think a member has violated the rules? Email the list manager at [EMAIL PROTECTED] before continuing it on the list. 2.
