Forwarded due to list-server weirdness: I have lived in a condo in Downtown Minneapolis for Thirty Years (30).
It is GREAT You can park your car--walk to the Theaters, walk to the health club, walk to the parks, walk to the two new Lunds(grocery stores)----walk to Marshall Fields--- walk to church----etc. I live in my own community with 508 additional homeowners--- some of the most wonderful people in the world. You do not have to cut your lawn You do not have to shovel your snow You have a swimming pool You park your car in a garage that is heated to a temperature of over 70 degrees in the Winter. Your deliveries of groceries, UPS, Flowers, Mail, Federal Express, etc. are accepted with you being home or not. You are represented in the City Council by the Great Lisa Goodman-- WHO COULD ASK FOR MORE. I also serve as the land use chair for the Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association and I do my best to approve any and all new condo in Downtown as I want everyone to have what I have.
