This is another issue too. You should ALWAYS have a bit or the straight
piece that first came in the shaft new in it when not in use. There is somehow
the thing that holds the bits that can get messed up otherwise. I always just
unplug the handpiece from the base and put it in my drawer when I m not there.
I just dropped it myself the otherday and it hit the edge of the trash can and
broke, a bit snapped the darn thing right off flush with the end. so <it>
happens. Thankfully not too often.

Yes I the drill bit is a Kupa bit it was a drum barrel type . I think
someone may have dropped my file the bit bent in the shaft I did not know I
should have never left the bit in the freakin thing it hit the deck the bit
bent unknown to me I fired her up and she was'nt coincentric and it flew apart
thats what i am thinking=2 0happened other wise why would it snap off like
that. Lesson learned here girls never ever leave a bit in your hand piece other
wise this shit will happen to you . Right ??? Million smacks with a wet noddle
!! i can hear it clicking around in there but it ain't comin out !!! Jennifer

Well I have a question: is the bit that broke one that you purchased
from Kupa?
