I dropped my e-file and the bit inside broke off. I sent it to Kupa and they saved my hand piece for a mere $40.00. They were pretty quick to get it back to me too J

I am still puzzled that you got no maintence info or tools with yours. I bought a new hand piece to have a spare and got all that with it too. There are even new motor brushes for the handpiece and fuses for the base unit. All Kupa. I just figured that they all came with that stuff. Anyway glad to know it is fixed. I have the up200 unit. it cost in the neighborhood of 375$ when I got it about 7 years ago The piece that unscrews is right where the bit enters, There is a step down that has straight sides on it. Don't Panic>>> you can get it out without sending it for service. The end of the shaft the bit fits into unscrews and you can get the broken piece out. Did you get a small screwdriver and a flat wrentch wit h your unit? The wrench has a triangular whole in it. That is the piece that will unscrew the end. There should be also a page of instructions for some minor maintence and how it all comes apart. Take a look at what you got with yo ur drill and if you arent too mechanical there has to be a guy in your world/area that is mechanical enough can help you out.. Where in the east are you?
