Hey Dawn I live on the east end of Long Island , I took an e-file class with
Simmy thats when I bought my file it was'nt  to long ago I don,t think I got
all that inside the drill lit he just heard me reading the advice and got his
ass in gear sometimes other people can do wonders right ?? I have been worrying
about this for a few days I am thinking my daughter might get engaged on
Christmas so she wants her nails in top shape . she hates hand filing  I only
do finish by hand. that drill is a god send when you know how to use it. I read
Atheinas post about the cancer issues thats pretty scarey stuff I am thinking
of gels now I have used the Brisa but got onto co;lored acrylics now I think
its time for colored gels . what are you into ?? Jennifer

Oh Jennifer,

hold on. Don't Panic>>> you can get it out without sending  it for service.
The end of the shaft the bit fits into unscrews and you can get the broken
piece out.  Did you get a small screwdriver and a flat wrentch with your unit?
The wrench has a triangular whole in it. That is the piece that will unscrew
the end.  There should be also a page of instructions for some minor maintence
and how it all comes apart.  Take a look at what you got with your drill and if
you arent too mechanical there has to be a guy in your world/area that  is
mechanical enough can help you out.. Where in the east are you? Maybe one of
us is close enough to help

Good luck hope you can get it figured out.

Hi everyone !! I hope everyone is great today I bet everyone is  busy shopping
for the up coming holidays !!! its been very quite here. I am posting for some
insight on e-file break downs the other day I went to file off some acrylic and
my file skidded across my nail and the bit broke off in the file OMG !!!! I
tried feverishly to get it out to no avail so I am sending it in for service,
tomorrow . So how much $$$ that I don't have gonna cost me ??? I have the KP-36
hand piece .I love my e-file and can not live without it !!!!!!  whats the turn
around time on that ?? I live on the East coast. I know theirs got to be a few
of you that can relate to this situation. Please let me know what I am in for.
Thank You Thank You Thank You in advance for any info. P.S Fingers still
healing and now I am probably going back to gels I can not live without my
nails !!!  Happy holidays ladies have a great day !!! Jennifer
