Hi Casey,
Do you ever switch between the two modes manually? If not, maybe the
switch is getting a little dirty. Try "exercising" it by switching back
and forth between Peak and VU a bunch of times and see if it settles down.
I meant to look at my Elan schematics on Friday when I was at the
shop, but I got busy and didn't get to it. If this doesn't help I will
try and have a look on Monday.
