Hello Neotek list. I have a 36 channel neotek Élan that has been great to me and sounds phenomenal, but im sure everyone on the list already knows that, but I have two questions: first, yesterday an interesting thing started happening, when my multitrack (an Ampex MM-1200 2" 16 track) is reading 0db on all its VU meters via a 1k tone from my alignment tape, all of my light meters on the board (when set to VU, not peak) are now reading +3 instead of 0. What would bring this on? Also a little while ago my signal generator crapped out on me. I pulled out the center section and had a look to see if I could spy an obvious problem, but to no avail. where would be the most obvious place to start, as far as trouble shooting the problem?
