Hi Colby,
I the reason that no one responded to this post is that you haven't
really supplied enough information for anybody to take a stab at it.
Please let us know more about your console and the configuration of your
set-up...and the symptoms of the problem. Like are you getting audio
through but just not seeing the meters, etc.
best,
Ike

Hello,
My name is Colby. I am the new owner of a Neotek series 1 console. It
belonged to an electronic media department of a college, but they got
rid of it and I was at the right place at the right time. Well, it is
working and I was hoping if someone out there was well versed on this
board, if you might be able to guide me along. I have already gotten
the punchdown tool and wired the outs to a presonus interface.
Tomorrow, I will wire the inputs. Right now, I am wondering why the
LED's on the front panel, which monitor the peak/vu, why they are not
lighting up. The VU meter does work, but not the LED's. Also, does
anyone have a preference as for the configuration of volumes.....aka,
should I have the gain up or down, the channel fader up or down, the
sub up or down, and the master up or down? What configuration would
give the best sound, strong signal, etc? Basically, anyone got any
good tips out there? This is my first post, so I hope this is going
out to someone. Thanks,
Colby
