Since Free4all became so slow as to be virtually unusable, I've moved my entire
operation over to Free-Online. I've never had a line drop or problem connecting
first time, and they seem quick. Comparatively anyway. :-)
Only potential problems are that you need a Javascript supported browser to
signup, they don't give Amiga support (but you probably wouldn't need it
anyway), and Microdot doesn't like downloading their supported newsgroups.
Minor points only.

You can log in to any ISP, load up your e-mail client (eg Microdot) and select
a Uk-Online user, and then press Check Mail. Any messages that was sent to
your Uk-Online e-mail address will still be downloaded, even when you're not
actually logged on with them. Cool!
Unfortunately, you can't send messages using this method. Also, many free ISPs
require you to log on to their server every month, or they reserve the right to
cancel your subscription.

I use AT&F1&D2S11=40W2\r - Don't really know exactly what it means, but it
works. :-)
