In case of any further interest, I started with NC2 and an IOBlix
1200S; but after establishing logon to my ISP (Freeserve) the line was
dropped after a second or so. Reverting to the standard A1200 serial
port removed the problem.
What's the recommended maximum length of cable from port to modem?
Is it shorter for the faster baud rate?
