I tried this and nothing different happened, apart from Genesis not
reporting
that it was "establishing network connection" or whatever it usually says.
The modem still dropped the line right after training and connecting with
the
ISP.
TR light stayed on until the line droppped. The CD light never got a chance.
This is starting to look alot like a SurfSquirrel that is a few nuts short
of a
Fruit'n'Nut. Everything works fine if I plug the modem into the motherboard
serial port, if alot more slowly. But it's "No Surfing" today with the
Squirrel.
