Hello, Patrick. I was confused at first with this also. When you bring up
the list with the esc key you can arrow through the list. When you press
enter on a name in the list there is a graphic character under your cursor.
A speech program won't read this out loud unless you have it set to read all
characters. If your screen reader can tell you what character is under the
cursor it may say "square root" or something like that. That means the name
is selected. The enter key toggles the select or unselect status on a name.
Then, when you're done with your selections you simply hit the escape key
to exit the list. You then just follow the prompts for the rest of the
message heading. You can't use your list for copies, (at least that's how I
remember it), but it does work very well for multiple recipients. This
feature works well with Vocal-Eyes, the screen reader I used for dos. I
hope this helps, feel free to contact me if you need more info.
