First, let me agree that riders like this guy make it harder for the rest of us. You will never catch me popping willies or weaving through traffic like this guy. I have to disagree still with the cop's reaction. From what I've read from the article, there is no law against filming police. No law at all. This will all come out in his court case, but the wiretapping law only applies when one party has a reasonable expectation of privacy. An officer jumping out of his car on a busy freeway with his gun drawn and a very obvious helmet camera pointed at him has no reasonable expectation of privacy. You're right, the cop was humiliated and wanted to retaliate. I have a helmet cam, I suppose I should wear it all the time now.
