I don't know about the BMW, but as for the asian bikes; From what I know the ST is the most comfy, the concourse is the fastest, and the FJR is the best handling. My brother just got an FJR after doing his comparison. I have to agree with his decision, that bike is fast, nimble, and roomy, the ABS brakes are phenomenal, the seat is a little hard for a sport touring bike though. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

They have a BMW K1100RS ('93 ABS with ~49K miles, around $4K) and a Pacific Coast 800 (unsure of year, I think around 22K miles, no price on it - they apparently just got it in recently). I have a '92 750 with ~26K miles that I bought almost 2 years ago. I've been eyeing the ST1100/ST1300s for the additional wind protection and luggage carrying capability. Of course, it would likely be cheaper to add hard bags to the NH for the luggage and you can add a fairing. Realistically, it would take a lot of convincing of my wife to get anything else and I would sell/trade in the NH to fund the purchase. I'll still see if I can get a test ride out of them. Any thoughts on the relative strengths/weaknesses of these 3 bikes? Thanks, Jeremy -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
