Ok, heres what I have on my 700S. There are two hoses going into the cannister. One from the valve cover and the other from the top of the crankcase. A third hose goes from the cannister to the airbox. Pretty simple. By the way have you checked the air filter? If it is real dirty or oiled up it will starve the carbs of air and the engine will fade at higher RPMs. If the plugs are black and or sooty that could mean its starved for air and/or carb issues.
