Hi Darin You replaced the stator...from where, was it from Honda or an off brand? I have an 83 650 and at 2500 rpm the system will show 14.5 volts, anything from 14v to 15v is good. I know when my stator was slowly burning out the voltage was dropping. Any of these tests on the system should be done with the battery at full charge with clean and tight connections. On my 83 with the bike off, check OHMs between yellow wires and ground. There should be NO continuity. Test OHMs between yellow wires (my 83 should be 0.4 - 0.6) OHMs between black and white wires should be 4 - 6 ohms. Cheers
