Sounds pretty neat.  I do have to admit I have used a shared MH folder
before, as the recipient of a mailing list, and if people had been
interested in following discussions on the list live (as opposed to using it
occasionally as a reference), per-user sequences would've been nice.

I agree that nmh's wealth of features shouldn't be thrown away in the name
of IMAP compatibility, but I also don't think they're necessarily a
legitimate reason why you _can't_ implement IMAP feature X properly.
