The 'tyranny of the majority' argument just made has solidly pushed me towards
this patch going in one of two directions:
* Closing it as won't fix.
or
* Modifying it such that processor detection on PowerPC and ARM running Linux
won't trigger the require statement. This can either be done specifically
inside the hadoop personality or adding the necessary plumbing to Yetus to
provide processor details that plug-ins can use.
We need to continue to guarantee that test-patch continues to work properly
outside of the Apache Jenkins servers rather than cater to one particular
audience.
