My company has an established policy for on-call compensation - I'm
not a conslutant:

First on-call
$20.00 per weekday evening
$50.00 per weekend/holiday

There's also a rate for second on-call, but I can't remember what it
is, as IT doesn't use that. Of course, as senior guy, I'm always
second on call, so of course, I don't get the benefit of it. It's a
nice bump to the paycheck every few weeks when I take the cell phone,
though.
