Note: Teamviewer and LogMeIn both have iPhone apps for remote control.

The LogMeIn app (called LogMeIn Ignition) is not free, but works with the free 
version of the "client".

The TeamViewer app is free (for non-comercial use, there is a payed version as 
well. Honor rule applies.)

Having had to fixed a user's permissions from the middle of nowhere, the 
LogMeIn Ignition app has helped me out more than once. I have yet to use the 
TeamViewer app on the iPhone as of yet, but if their desktop app is any 
indication, it should work very well.
