LogMeIn Rescue or GoToAssist ain't cheap, at $99-$129/month, and for the small amount of remote support I do, I can't justify the cost. I use UltraVNC SingleClick for supporting my small clients who only occasionally need remote help, and LogMeIn for my larger ones where they can justify paying for the remote access. UVNC SC allows my clients to get through their routers without problems, and walking them through starting SC is way easier and faster than walking them through downloading the 15 megabyte installer for LogMeIn Free. I can use my uVNC SC to install LogMeIn Free on remote computers where I think I might need ongoing access. If you want to see uVNC SC in action, rattle my cage off-list. Angus PS to the thread contributor who pays for one LMI Pro -- you don't need that to add new computers. I just added one of my VMs to my LMI Free account to confirm that it still works ...
