Very good point. We lease our copiers and pay maintenance which covers the toners as well as any service calls. We've had a very good relationship with our vendor. They are very prompt in sending a tech out, normally within 24 hours (we're 90 minutes away from them, so they tend to have to schedule a tech call for us.) I do like our tech as he's pretty good at figuring out how to work around any issues that may come up while working on the copier/printer.

The copier is only as good as the service it has on it. They all break and users will hate the one's that are broken the longest or most often. That being said we are a Canon shop and have tried many others over the years. Ricoh, Kyocera, Lanier but always end up going right back to a Canon. _____ From: David Mazzaccaro [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, July 09, 2010 7:22 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Kyocera? We recently got a proposal to replace a HP Color LaserJet 3800 with a Kyocera TASKAlfa 250ci color copier. I was wondering if anyone had anything good (or bad) to say about Kyocera? I have no experience with any of their products, but they cost per page looks very good! And of course they assure me the quality is equal if not better than the HP.
