As I understand it the amount of the invoice is shown.  Chris raises a
good point though.  Does the text also include the account balance?

No, the amount is included.

Completely agree.  No argument on the lack of a requirement to send a
_physical_ invoice.  I've not been querying that.  I'm wondering if
they have to _send_ an invoice at all.  I would expect there to be
some requirement for an invoice (physical or digital) at actually be
_sent_ to the person being invoiced.
