I'll point out that we're doing *MORE* than the standard OGL / d20 concept 
is.  All our game rules are "open", and we use "open" rules.  Our Product 
Identity, which would be *VERY CLOSED* if we were a for-sale organization, 
is "free-to-distribute" with an open membership to contribute.

We might even split the Product Identity a little further, and leave it to 
our individual contributors (and me) to split the PI / OGC line.  (Thus, one 
guy's city could be all closed, and another guy's town could be all open, 
save for a few names.)

Those are rules.  *RULES* would be open.  What Dunandralis would have is 
"The three musketeers" which, however inaccurate you think they are, you 
really can't change.  (Unless some part of that is open... but *game rules* 
wouldn't be touched.)

There's no formal requirement to be on the list to contribute.  You could 
just e-mail Maggie or myself, and we'd act as go-betweens with the list.
