Title: RE: [Open_Gaming] Mixed Works?

*blink blink*
Ok, I'm getting one of those 'people aren't talking on the same wavelength' headaches again. *grin* Here's a quick little recap of what I understand to be the way of things:

d20stl = OGL Game
OGL Game <> d20stl

The OGL says:
"Here are a set of rules that we like a lot and hope you do too. Take them and do whatever you want with them. The only provisions are 1> You must include a copy of the liscence. 2> Clearly mark what is a> Open gaming material free for other people to put into their open rules. b> What is your own Product Identity/Not to be copied and put elsewhere."

The d20stl says:
"Here is a nifty logo for you to put onto your OGL game to tell otherpeople it's compatible. All we ask is that you don't put anything about how to generate a character or raise levels in. Also, for compatiblity sake, we ask you don't change the definition of the following terms.. blah blah blah."

THUS:
Under the OGL I can create a Psychic Octopus Game, tell people to roll up their stats with 2d10, They advance in level every 10 xp, and gain free feats at levels 2, 5, and 9. Oh yeah, and the Strength trait now indicates only the ability to hold onto things with your tentacles, breaking things requires the 'Machismo' trait which is rolled up like the other traits.

And now I publish my P.O.G.

I then decide I want to put the d20 logo on this badboy:
Out goes anything having to do roling up stats... cept for the phrase "The machismo trait is generated as you would any other trait." (Don't ask me what the machismo trait does now though since strength involves breaking things.) Feats are gained standard cept that under the Racial Attributes I could put that POGs gain a bonus feat every 4 levels, starting at 2nd.

And now I can put out P.O.G. Revised with the pretty d20 logo on it.
