That's because the Player's Handbook is a proprietary mark of Wizards and
violates section 7 under the OGL. He replied with "Character creation is
handled in the usual fashion." As we have heard before from Ryan, the D20
STLG is primarily focusing on the 11-step process outlined in 2 pages in the
front of the PHB. If you don't replicate any portion of that you are pretty
safe with regard to character creation.>>
That's not what he said when I asked prior to the release of "The Foundation." If
that had been the case, the rules included in that book would have made *lots* more
sense. I hacked that thing at the last minute to avoid what appeared to be violating
material!
Ryan, I would sincerely like to see an answer on this...it would be of immense value.
