|content. They are the copyright holders of that
|content. the OGL is the way for other non-copyright
|holders of that material to be able to use it. So
|Dungeon and Dragon mags can do what they want with
|their own stuff. No license, no nothing. And they dont
|have to open any of it up.

Wait a second. But it's if they are publishing 'OGL content' IE. If they decide that they want to be nice enough to publish some OGL content so that the rest of us can use it in our own works.
