I suppose one feature an OGL logo would have is that if it were created, and publishers began putting it on their books next to the d20 logo, then if the d20stl were ever pulled or altered in a way you found hard to accept you'd be able to revert to simply using the OGL logo which would by then have at least some recognition value.
