The question I guess I am asking then....Would you stand behind it? Is
there anyone out there that would?

The D20 has never garaunteed quality or compatibilty and we see a GOOD
ammount of crap with that jazzy D20 logo on it.

Not my example, really. The idea has been around as long as I've been
studying the OGL. It likely originated with Ryan; if not, then with Lizard
or Faust or Clark or some other old-timer.

Thank you: that question sums up my point more clearly than I did.

And might it potentially hurt sales? I still see little evidence that "OGL"
means anything to the vast majority of the buying public. All they see is
"d20". So if an OGL logo appears, will the new logo cause confusion and
cause some people to not buy anything?

For us to speculate that this logo would hurt or boost sales right now is
just that: speculation, perhaps backed by faith or skepticism. We'll really
only know when somebody makes the effort.
