sure which one), under the OGL, while at the same time, keeping the demon
summoning rules (derived from their own copyrighted material) closed?

The rules are written *for* Wizards and Sorcerers, cost *Experience Points*,
and the demons resulting from it have stats as 3E/d20 Monsters. In this
regard, while possibly originating from their own older rules-set, the rules
*do not* stand alone outside of the SRD. It's the primary reason why I
won't be buying anymore from Chaosium. Considering how much of AEG's
Rokugan rules-set has been OGC'd, I really don't see much reason or excuse
for Chaosium's lack of spirit in this regard. For example, by giving a
weapon a name like "[PI Country] War Axe", they consider the stats of the
weapon to be PI as well.

Of course, Dragonlord's failed for me since it had to present the entire
Melnibon'e mythos within the first 20-Levels of play, and it *really is* an
Epic Setting (not that I'm a big Epic fan, but without it, Elric just seems
"pale" in comparison to the books). After the ELH material gets SRD'd, I'd
hope they'd revisit it. This time going for higher levels and with a better
understanding of the term "derivative".
