You know, Ben, you need a history lesson.

Chaosium was the very first publisher to try to port
their system to d20. It was an amazing attempt, done
very early on in d20. It fell flat and was done wrong,
but if you keep in mind the historical perspective
(ie, it was done around the time we did CC1 and there
is no way I would do that the same today) it is absurd
to judge those first tries at d20 under a current
standard. They had nothing to guide them.

They were the first to try to port existing content
and systems into d20. I think they deserve a little
love (and a little slack) for trying it. I agree they
did many things wrong, but I was doing stuff wrong too
back then and I had more experience at it than they
did.

For you to say you wont buy stuff because of PI
designations from back before any of us had really
worked through what all that meant is absurd. Heck, we
were still arguing on this list what it all meant back
then.
