You know, Ben, you need a history lesson. Chaosium was the very first publisher to try to port their system to d20. It was an amazing attempt, done very early on in d20. It fell flat and was done wrong, but if you keep in mind the historical perspective (ie, it was done around the time we did CC1 and there is no way I would do that the same today) it is absurd to judge those first tries at d20 under a current standard. They had nothing to guide them. They were the first to try to port existing content and systems into d20. I think they deserve a little love (and a little slack) for trying it. I agree they did many things wrong, but I was doing stuff wrong too back then and I had more experience at it than they did. For you to say you wont buy stuff because of PI designations from back before any of us had really worked through what all that meant is absurd. Heck, we were still arguing on this list what it all meant back then.
