Marcia,  I agree with the need for more one-way streets that will make our
traffic move faster yet safer.  When I was on the City Planning Commission
in the -70's,  I was attempting to seriously explore this issue.  At that
time,  there was no interest.  I truly appreciate your thoughts about
Winona's traffic problems.  Stopping every other block for a stop sign is
not the way to move traffic.  Having many open intersections is not
promoting safe driving conditions.
