conducted a 2 day conference on Philanthropy and all of it is available for
listening on the web. Especially good are "Opening Address" and
"NewTitheCalc."
Alex deToqueville was one of the first to call our attention to the
connection between democracy and volunteerism. What if our community
generated as much interest in volunteerism and charitable giving as we are
generating on the whole host of important issues we are currently
discussing?
