I wanted to pass along information about a rally for tax payer refunds
that will take place this weekend. I encourage anyone with an interest in
tax refunds to come and show their support.
The Governor's budget proposal, if enacted, would respond to taxpayer's
needs and allow them choices to return their overpayment of taxes to the
state, send them the the University of Minnesota , mail them to their local
school or to retain them for their heating bills and other family expenses.

Join us in telling our state representatives to demand the return of our
excessive taxes.
When: Saturday, February 17th, 7:30 A.M.
Where: Winona State University Kryzco Commons Dining Rooms C & D
Why: Taxpayers around the state continue to face enormous family budget
deficits in the coming biennium, and the Governor's budget proposes to
control spending and return the excessive tax collections this and the
following year!
This is wonderful news, and we must tell our legislators so!
