These are exactly the sorts of problems the government should be helping people out
with in the face of a budget surplus. As Mr. Henzel points out, as individuals we can
not do much to alleviate these problems with our rebates, even assuming most
people would want to, but as a society we fail in our duty to our fellow citizens if
we
except a tax rebate while others freeze or starve!
