but i love rumors...talk has it that if the dm&e gets their expansion,
they want to tear down the stone arches east of lewiston and regrade...
that would be a tremendous loss for the county...at least one state
official has sugested creating a lineal historic district along part of
the old winona - saint peter line (including the arches)...the arches
are already on the national register of historic places...thank
heavens...
just one more twist to the dm&e story!
