Linux or Windows, it's a personal preference based off personal 
experiences. I don't believe anyone is trying to "push" anyone, people 
in general just have a natural tendency to promote what their personal 
experiences have convinced them is the ideal.

We understand the opinion that there needs to be more documentation 
tailored to windows users, and we will do our best to accommodate that 
opinion in the future.
