I used exactly the same method for installing the module as you did, by going to the Package Manager and installing the FAQ. I even updated it today, as there was an update available since I last checked.

When I first log in, I'm greeted by the normal row of buttons:

Logout, QueueView, Phone-Ticket, Email-Ticket, Search, Customer, Company, Bulk-Action, <Separator>, Calendar, Survey, FileManager, FAQ, Stats, Preferences, Admin

Clicking on FAQ yields:

Logout, Explorer, New Article, Search, History, <Separator>, Ticket, Calendar, Survey, FileManager, Stats, Preferences, Admin

Clicking on Admin yields:

Logout, <Separator>, Ticket, Calendar, Survey, FileManager, FAQ, STats, Preferences

If you click on "FAQ" there, it's the same as clicking on it from a non-admin login, i.e. it's not the button for the back end.

Within the backend admin, there are no links under any of the four columns relating to FAQ.

I also just removed and reinstalled the FAQ module, and I'm still not seeing any place to edit any of the FAQ information, like the "default comment" or categories.

Did you do a manual install or a package install? I just go to Admin->Package Manager->Update->Install (FAQ) and once it's installed, the FAQ button shows up in the Admin.

Actually, even regular screen will show the FAQ button too.

    There is no "Admin->FAQ".

    However, as an experiment, I took the URL for adding an FAQ Article:

    http://otrs.terraworld.net/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentFAQ&Subaction=Add
    <http://otrs.terraworld.net/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentFAQ&Subaction=Add>

    and changed that to

    http://otrs.terraworld.net/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentFAQ&Subaction=Category

<http://otrs.terraworld.net/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentFAQ&Subaction=Category>

    and was greeted by the "FAQ Category" section, in which I can add
    Categories.

    I'm concerned why Admin->FAQ is not available, though. Perhaps there is
    some sort of error in my installation.
