About my 9500 freezing me out. . . I'm back in the saddle again. Selected "OS 8.6 all" in the Extensions Manager. It booted up and so I duplicated that set and have been, two or three at a time, adding CPs and Extensions to it. I think the culprit was called "Kodak Precision Startup" that I got from a MacAddict CD in a Quark 4 package which said to install it in the startup folder. Anyone know what these Kodac Extensions are about: CMM; Kodac Precision; Kodac Precision profile? I had two copies of disk Light happening too; trashed the old one; haven't tried turning Disk Light back on. As I mentioned, when the freeze happened was just as the HD icon and the Date and Time mounted while Disk Light was flashing upper left. Thanks for being there, and to LowEnd too!
