Ok. I've now installed Netscape 7 on my PM 7300/180 (OS 8.6). So
far, I'm not that impressed; iCab 2.8.2 is faster. (the NS Readme
does say it requires a 266-MHz PPC 604 or faster) (insert wisecracks
about poorly written software that requires ultra fast CPUs to do
even the simplest tasks)

The tab feature seems nice. But using the back button in iCab is
just as fast. IOW, I think the Tab feature in NS 7 is simply using
the cached data correctly - a first for Netscape versions. Previous
vers insisted on re-downloading page elements instead of just
displaying them, which resulted is long display times.

iCab, Opera, Netscape 4, Netscape 7. hum. Mah hard drive is gettin
full! Time to go hit eBay! :)
