I have to laugh..."standards" are not so standard but tend to be on the edge and in the minority. Most sites do not use these arbitrary means of weeding out older browsers. Code needs to be written for reality and what is really in use and not what some oppressive "you must upgrade now" group on the web thinks they should be.
