Unfortunately, I would have to totally reinstall from scratch, since
each system is generally configured individually for that person's work.
Naturally, some programs, such as office, novell, netscape, notes, and
others are installed on each system, since everyone has to use them, BUT
a large number of other programs would be individually related in their
work being performed.
The whole issue seems to relate to a registry setting that was messed up
by office2K when it was uninstalled BUT the problem is no one has any
idea WHICH it could be. So at least work arounds are available, which
simplified the whole mess.
