I'm sorry but I haven't been following this thread cuz I've been really
busy.....but, if it's just the office registry mess you want to clean up,
you can use the office erasers, which are free from Microsoft.....this might
negate the need for a format

I have links to the Office 97 eraser and the Office 2k eraser on my Office
page, near the bottom....these are two tools no one who has Office should be
without, IMO
