Could it be possible that the problem is with Norton? Seems to be the
situation in an inordinate number of difficult situations.
Zone Alarm has caused problems for me, also so don't be too quick to put
the
blame on your ISP.
Earlier in the week, I could connect to Earthlink DSL fine, but no pages
would load and Outlook would not download any emails.
I removed Earthlink software, Norton's, reinstalled everything several
times. After hours of troubleshooting, the tech told me to uninstall Zone
Alarm. Bingo-I was able to load pages.
Even though I had nothing relating to Zone Alarm running, it was still
causing me to not be able to connect.
I am debating on reinstalling it at this point.
