Not exactly true. USB 2.0 interfaces are downwards compatible. So if you
connect *istD to USB2.0 enabled PC it will work without any problems.
Personally I wouldn't bother with this. I would for sure buy external reader
- much more convenient to use than connecting cable to camera every time.
That's exactly my point. It __should__ be compatible. However, my brother, who is very good in these things informed me that there're some issues here. There're boxes that have USB 2.0 that have trouble with USB 1.1 devices. Probably not many, but within 3 years the USB 1.1 will be quite antique...
