Hi! C> Interesting. Of course, I have no intention of following such a course of C> action. I will be a T-plus one year soon, and I will be sending the body C> off for a CLA (or whatever they call it for DSLRs). I plan to keep mine C> going for at least 5 years, more likely 10.
C> At some point it will become a 2nd body, doubtless. Undoubtedly <grin> your point of view is valid. I think that my sentiment is quite similar. However the circumstances often overpower a man, even a married man, like you or me. What is "T-plus" please? Now, Cotty, notice that from what is written in the spec of *ist D, it appears that the darn thing has USB 1.1. It means that there could be some PC boxes already that won't be able to pull data from the camera. Then of course, just few days ago some company announced a CD-Writer with addition of 7-way card reader for just $79. It probably reads most if not all __current__ memory cards. I am certain that within 3 years, the situation will be far worse. It is a little awkward already even before *ist D hits the shelves... By the way USB 1.1 is not the fastest one... No cents or pennies for you this time, all is spent on that lens you enabled me with <Grin>. --- Boris Liberman www.geocities.com/dunno57
