Nobody in their right mind would faff about plugging up the camera to the
computer! Aside from the chore, most current DSLRs have plastic/rubber
coverings for the data ports and we al know what happens to plastic/
rubber coverings once enough movement is introduced.
Arghhh. It shows that I never yet owned a digital camera of any kind. I've owned 5 PDAs, 3 of which are still in the family so to say. But now digicams for this lad.
