Yep. > 2. If, so, is it a safety deposit box? Or is it a fire-proof strong box > at > home? Or something else? I usually give a copy to my Parents (substitute other relative or friend as required) to look after. Its not fire-proof or anything, but the chances of us both having a fire at once are slim. > 3. It depends on my shooting... if its just casual round the house stuff, it might take months. After an important event (wedding, holiday, etc), I'll try to get it done as soon as possible. > Anything else about backing up copies that you want to add... I usually make a fresh copy every time. The old copy gets kept too, at least for a few generations. While incremental backups are a cheaper/quicker option, I prefer the added security of multiple copies. That way, if a DVD is defective, or dies after a few years, its unlikely its the only copy of the shot. - Peter Loveday -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
